Gina Lamb Director/Producer

 

Gina Lamb has produced well over 200 social issue documentary and experimental video shorts in collaboration with youth in Los Angeles over the past 20 years. Honors include a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and Anonymous Was A Woman Award. She is the Director of Arts and Technology Programs at REACH LA and currently runs an on-going LGBTQ youth video production program that is now in it's fifth year. She also teaches in the Intercollegiate Media Stuides program at the Claremont Colleges.

Tyrone Carter - Producer

Tyrone Carter joined the REACH LA staff in June 2006 as Director of the Young Men's Ovahness Program. Prior to becoming a member of the team, Tyrone worked in the Entertainment business as a Coordinator on music videos, commercials and network television programs. His transition from the world of Entertainment to HIV Prevention and Human Services began while working at a drug and alcohol treatment facility, Alternatives, Inc. His commitment to youth blossomed when he was asked to coordinate Project MY LIFE, a collaboration between In The Meantime Men’s Group, Inc. and APLA. MY LIFE-MY STYLE targets at-risk Black male youths with programming that integrates HIV prevention messages with life skills programs and social events. Tyrone supports the LGBTQ community by serving on numerous community advisory boards such as the Los Angeles County HIV Prevention Planning Committee. Tyrone Carter holds a certificate of completion from Street Lights and currently is a degree candidate in Clinical Psychology at LACC.

REACH LA, Executive Producer

REACH LA is a youth driven organization committed to educating, motivating, and mobilizing urban youth to improve their own lives and communities. The mission of REACH LA is to train low-income youth of color from Metropolitan Los Angeles, and empower them with skills to develop innovative program initiatives that lead to social change in their own peer community.

Sean Milan Infiniti is a West Coast Legend and Co-Founder of the House and Ball Community on the West Coast. Milan has worked as a professional apparel designer, wardrobe specialist and stylist for the past seven years. He is currently working with REACH LA to develop a new clothing and accessory line called "Couture Kids Caring" set to launch by early 2008.

Armond Anderson-Bell Collaborating Director

 

Armond Anderson- Bell has fought for LGBT rights and wholistic health advocacy since he was 15 years old by utilizing his aritistic talents of play writing and performing thru his alter ego Ms Imani Phoenix. Currently Armond is a program producer for Time Warner Cable hosting his own show called "Urban Development". He is professionally trained as an HIV educator and he doesn't "just talk he walks it as well. . Armond is in the House of Devastation which is more about family than walking balls. He says he is not "house mother", but a "mother in the house". Armond values his uniqueness and is "real as ice water"

Chris Blades ......................... Assistant Producer

 

Chris Blades is the "New Face" in the House of Allure. He also serves as Outreach Coordinator for the REACH LA Young Men's Ovahness Program. Chris plans to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Human Servies from Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Francisco Armenta........ Assistant Camera

 

Francisco Armenta is an accomplished graphic artist and HIV educator. He has received the Governor's scholar in the arts award and studied art at the Califonia State Summer School for the arts. He has exhibited his work at the F-Space Gallery at USC and is currently designing HIV education youth outreach materials at REACH LA and teaching HIV prevention as a peer health educator.
